Well, I’ve asked around and the minimum order for shirts is 100 : / There are other suppliers who said I could start with a 50 shirt order, but it costs more, and they’re kind of flakey. That, and I don’t know what the material is like.
100 shirts will set me back 25,000 @_@ I don’t think I even KNOW 100 people (who’ll buy the shirt). There’s also the sizing dilemma.
I asked Cat about it, since she did a similar endeavor for Arigato Hato (the investment was all her too) and she shared how a ton of people who verbally promised to purchase the shirt (specifying size and color) did not. She’s lucky since she was able to sell those abandoned shirts to other buyers happy with the size and color, but I guess I’m just afraid that I won’t be as lucky.
I think the hype’s died down too. <: ) I'm just a little hesitant to throw that much money into it. It's times like this I wish I knew who to print my own shirts! That would be boss.
